I hate traffic. That is why I want to fix it.  A civil engineering major, graduating from the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UCF, Vikash knows firsthand the challenges of urban sprawl. Growth has its challenges. Growth may have met its match.  My transportation system research here is cutting edge.  And life saving.  Using micro-simulation software, I am testing the effects of different real-time Intelligent Transportation System strategies to reduce the potential for crashes to occur on a major urban freeway.
